I was unfortunate enough to fall over and hurt myself when I was out training with my friend the other day. We were out running in the sunshine in the lovely countryside and I was distracted, looking at the lovely view and managed to twist my knee in a rabbit hole. I felt very silly and hoped that it would wear off. We slowed down to a walking pace and I limped more and more realising that things were not going to get any better. We managed to make it back to the car and fortunately I had not driven so I could rest in the passenger seat while my friend drove home. When we got back to his place he attacked his medicine cabinet and found me out a gel pack to put on my knee while he made us some delicious lunch and a hard earned cup of tea. As we relaxed and chatted I asked him about what sort of treatment he would recommend for my knee. He said that once I had got the swelling down with the Colpac gel pack he thought it would be best if I use a knee wrap to keep it warm and to stop any swelling.
